Q Topic: For this paper, you will be writing a 3-4 page compare/contrast essay. The compare and contrast mode of writing requires writers to assess two topics on BOTH their similarities and differences. You will be exploring BOTH similarities and differences for this essay. For example, a cause essay might compare and contrast the similarities and differences between an HMO and a PPO or the similarities and differences between an accounting and a finance course. You may choose topics that have more similarities than differences or vice versa. There does not have to be the same number of comparisons and contrasts in the essay.
